Do A Good Job Of Cleaning The Anilox Roller

① There must be sufficient cleaning time. If the ink accumulated at the bottom of the cell is not dry, it can be dissolved in water, but because it is surrounded by the mesh wall of the cell, only the surface can be exposed to water. If there is not enough cleaning time, it is difficult to put it in the cell. The ink is completely cleaned, and this time will take at least one hour;

②Clean with copper brush or steel brush. Cleaning the anilox roller with a special copper brush or steel brush for the anilox roller can effectively clean the anilox roller. Copper brushes are used to clean metal anilox rollers, and steel brushes are used to clean ceramic anilox rollers. However, this cleaning method is limited by the number of lines of the anilox roller (generally less than 280 lines). The reason is that when the number of lines of the anilox roller is too high, the opening of the mesh is smaller than the diameter of the wire of the copper brush or steel brush. The wire of the brush or steel brush cannot enter the cell, and the ink in the cell cannot be cleaned;

③ Wash with washing machine water. Ink plants generally supply washing machine water, which helps to clean some of the more difficult-to-clean inks remaining at the bottom of the cells, especially black and quick-drying inks. Thoroughly clean the anilox roll regularly. Even if the daily cleaning of the anilox roller is done well, it is inevitable that ink will remain at the bottom of the cell and dry up. This phenomenon can be clearly seen under a high-power magnifying glass. Therefore, the anilox roll must be thoroughly cleaned regularly.
