What Is The Difference Between Flexo And Gravure Printing?
Nov 15, 2021
Flexographic printing refers to relief printing using flexographic printing plate and transferring ink through anilox roller.
Gravure printing is that the graphic area on the printing plate is lower than the non graphic area. The graphic area contains ink and scrapes off the excess ink with a scraper. Then it is in direct contact with the substrate and pressurized by the embossing cot to transfer the ink to the substrate.
